What started out as a just a collection of random subwoofer parts and samples throughout years of R&D has evolved into an ethos. The culmination of this R&D as a contractor has resulted in new patented and licensed technologies that have never been seen before in the subwoofer space. But what about all of those parts leftover from the process?

The OPAT ethos is to use what parts are left over to design new an innovative subwoofers that are patent agnostic, and to build new limited run models using all of the knowledge and experience gained through the R&D process. This is different than full scale production, so each new design gets hand built one piece at a time until all of the parts are used.

OPAT subwoofers are designed using the highest level mechanical FEA, magnetic circuit simulation, and acoustic design software, and are verified by in house klippel testing. Few brands are able to rely on in house klippel testing, and many brands sell you products with no klippel data at all on their products. All of the OPAT models are quantified and there is no BS when it comes to specs.
